An event benefiting local children’s charities
Jarden Process Solutions is proud to power the 2nd annual St. Paddy’s Day Dash & Bash, a
fundraising event to benefit local children’s charities. This year’s benefiting
charities are
Camp Spearhead,
GHS Children's Hospital,
Legacy Charter School,
Let There Be Mom, and
Make-A-Wish South Carolina.
The name! St. Paddy’s Day Dash & Bash was adopted in order to
better describe the event after new additions to the race courses and after-party.
The dash! The event will again host a certified 5K Run and a 1/4-mile
kids’ fun run. The 5K Run will be
chip-timed on a certified running course through beautiful downtown Greenville, SC, finishing in Fluor Field at the West End, home of the Greenville
Drive.
All runners will receive a technical T-shirt, water,
snacks, and a ticket redeemable for one FREE
green beer after the run.
Awards will be given to the top three male and female overall finishers, as well as the top three male and female master and grandmaster finishers
for the 5K race. Awards will also be given to the top three male and female finishers by age group for the 5K as follows:
14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-70, 71+.
Cash prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in the 4th
annual costume contest will be given to the best dressed runners sporting the best Irish-themed costume attire. Think green!
The bash! Even bigger and better after-party activities will be
available for the entire family. Look out for additional kids’ attractions (and more fun for the adults).
The bash will also include the awards ceremony for top finishers and costume contest, check presentation to benefiting
charities, silent auction, Kids’ Fun Run, kids’ games, bounce houses, face painting, vendor booths, live
music, and food and green beer for sale!
